Clematis

A favorite flowering vine, which has a wide spectrum of colors; bloom time spans from spring to late summer, depending on the variety.  Latticed support will enhance the appearance.  Prefers partial shade & neutral-alkaline soil condition with good drainage; roots need cool soil.  Pruning is made in spring or late fall, by shortening the canes to 1-3'.
