4.              Alternative Shipping Methods  USPS Priority or standard.

5.             Shipping Schedule: Bare Root  March-May.  Container  April – early June, September - October.  Quart  liners mid April – late May.

7.             Bare Root: Follow the provided planting instruction sheet, to assure successful results. Due to the perishability of the plants, our guarantee is only to the extent that they are healthy and true to name. If you detect a shipping problem or defective plants please notify us as early as possible.

8.             Late Pickups: We will reserve plants on a prepaid basis for up to two weeks during the season, when space allows.

9.             Substitutions: We make every effort to provide you with healthy stock.   However, natural conditions and other constraints do occur.  In case of shortage, may we substitute?

10.          Additional Charges: Due to the added size and weight of potted roses, an extra fee is inescapable.  Please refer to shipping chart below.

Note: In order to reduce weight and damage during shipment, the plants are shipped without the containers and with less soil.  The net result is reduced cost and improved shipping.

The Natural Approach

Non-dormant plants are not treated with pesticides at the nursery, only prior to shipment.  Should they be found infested with live aphids or spider mites, choose one of these options to prevent their spread: flush away or squirt with water, rub leaves with soapy water then rinse, or spray with appropriate solution at the recommended rate. Add fungicide if necessary (Daconil, Mancozeb, sulfur) at that time.  We consider those plants healthy and will not reimburse any portion
