NEW YEAR'S GREETINGS!
A QUICK SURVEY
You may have just recycled the old calendar, however before memory fades we would appreciate your input, in order to help us improve our products & service. Please help us to help you:
- how would you rate your experience on the farm in 2011, 1-5 worst to best?
- what additional products or service, would you like us to offer?
- how do we fare in comparison to other producers you may have experience with 1-5 (please include quality & pricing)?
- would you consider volunteering in exchange for membership?
- would you consider participating in a CSA program (buying shares upfront)?
- how can we improve communication?
- what additional product or program would you like us to offer
As reported earlier, we are discontinuing the participation in the Farmers' Market in St Paul. Instead we'll focus on improving our service & product line at home.
If there's enough interest in the CSA posture (at least 20 memberships), we'll start working on details. We welcome your suggestions.
WINTER PYO REPORT
A while back we decided to extend PYO into winter: fresh produce in a cozy greenhouse environment are truly enticing in Minnesota winterscape. The response has been favorable; at present we offer kohlrabi, radish, carrot, greens & herbs. Tomatoes are still available in the store, along with eggs, honey, frozen berries, cider & preserves. We are working on the next winter crop, anticipated sometime in February.
SPECIALS
Our feathered flock is contributing hefty amounts of eggs daily; in response we offer them at a hefty savings of 25%, along with preserves, pickles & honey @ 10% off. Gift Certificates are 10% off for any amount.
STORE HOURS: At this time there's no attendant; please call in advance.
Yours,
Rachel, Sam & Alex
